The Nikon D300 digital camera is also known as the ND300 and was launched in August 2007. This semi-professional digital SLR camera
was launched along with the Nikon D3 FX camera. The ND300 is similar to the Nikon D3 FX, but is a higher speed camera with a better image resolution and a DX censor instead of a FX one. It is more compact than the regular D3 FX. A successor to the popular D200, it has the reputation of being the ultimate in DX format performance.

In fact, the Nikon D300 got rave reviews from some of the leading magazines like Shutterbug, Outdoor Photographer and the UK based magazine What Digital Camera. Post launch, the camera was conferred the title of The Official Camera of The Year by Popular Photography, a widely read magazine.

The Nikon D300 is packed with various features. The camera is driven by Nikon’s exclusive EXPEED Image Processing System. It features a new 51-point autofocus (AF) system and two new LiveView shooting modes. With a high-resolution 12.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, the camera captures high quality pictures. The D300 can shoot at a rapid six frames per second or at an incredible eight frames per second powered by its optional MB-D10 multi-power battery pack.

Well! The Nintendo’s and Apple’s of this world can wait. Sony keeps arriving with a bang each time and subtly mars any of their chances. Again, this time with the gaming console PS3 or playstation 3, Sony has come up just the perfect way. The PS3 has completely caught the imagination of masses and the gaming console is fast turning people into islands. Most of them just need this unique piece in their hand and the rest of the world might go to the dogs for all they care. Funny! The way the playstation gets stuck in our psyche. Now the PS3 is completely blessed with graphic interfaces and multimedia capabilities. The multimedia-enabled videos open a different world in the gaming consoles. The playstation 3 revolutions can be gauged by the download statistic associated with it. Portals are having a field day. There are a sizeable amount of them and each is making tidy business letting people download games on to their PS3. Now few cautions: while downloading on to your PS3, never go for a peer-to-peer file sharing program. It introduces a lot of malware and Trojans and also the quality of download is debatable. Have you had a closer look at an Android – HTC phone, called as the T-Mobile G1 -yet? It is the first phone that runs Google’s Android software, and it is probably going to create waves.

HTC, T-Mobile and Google’s combined labor of love, this wonderful phone has a 3.2 inches long touch screen. Like iPhone users can orient the phone vertically as well as horizontally. And they can stick a bunch of icons onto that main screen for the apps or functions that they use frequently. Get single-click access to Google Maps, including features such as satellite maps, traffic conditions, and street views or tap once to get Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar, and Google Talk (for chat). Google Search will fetch results just like the desktop version. Results can be prioritized based on location, so that the search results will show what is closest to any position. That makes finding things easier. HTC has also included a MyFaves icon, which is the T-Mobile interface for speed-dialing your friends or mother.

Beyond the basic Google apps, add your own; visit the Marketplace for Android apps and buy whatever you want. The apps are sorted by alphabetical order or by popularity. Search for things and buy them with a couple of clicks.
