Technology such as LCD Monitors covered in this article are rapidly changing our world in many ways and becoming more affordable for the average person. It’s worth mentioning however that better technology is actually properly defined as simply a better way of doing something we already do with whatever process we have at hand. Rather than thinking of better technology in terms of computers, hi tech gadgets and such, for example anytime we find a way to get to work 5mins faster than before we have found a better technology to improve our lives in some respect.
I spend eight hours every day at my computer because that is what I do for a living. Honestly it would not be possible without my using the latest in technology breakthroughs; one of the new LCD computer monitors.
The old style computer monitors are based on cathode ray tube technology that has been around for more than fifty years. There have been some improvements but nothing can compare to the new LCD computer monitors. The screen is flat and thin, taking up almost no space on my desk. wireless technology is gaining ground because of its low cost and ease-of-use. We all are familiar with radio and phones that use wireless technology. There are many more possible practical applications for wireless and the breakthrough developments happening in this field are set to revolutionize the future.
Wireless network means less maintenance and less cost. The advent of radio has put a stop to the use of telephones that uses wires to transmit signals. The new age cell phones based on wireless technology have made it possible for us to reach anyone anytime. Do you know about remote control technology? generally, there are two types of remote controls: infrared (IR), and radio frequency (RF). Infrared remote controls work by sending pulses of infrared light to a device, while RF remote controls use radio waves in much the same way. Pragmatically, the biggest difference between the two is range. IR remote controls require a clear line of sight to the receiving device and their range maxes out at about 30 feet (9.14 meters). RF remote controls can go through walls and around corners, with a range of roughly 100 feet (30.48 meters).
Most home entertainment components such as stereos, televisions and home entertainment centers use IR remote controls. The remote contains an internal circuit board, processor, and one or two Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs).
